Corsica Complete - Day 2
I changed the gameplan a bit today, figured if were doing it might aswell go all out. I removed the handles and moldings and applied a chemical stripper to the affected panel. There is a video showing how easily the stripper removes the paint, you will be notified if you are a youtube subscriber when it is ready (www.youtube.com/jimmo4life). Here is a few pictures of the progress so far today:
(don\'t forget to check back at the end of the day as I will update this post later)

Here is the youtube video of the chemical reaction. (note: you must be viewing from our website to view)

After a pressure washing we have:

I will use a sander to remove the rest. This is what it looked like after a quick over the an orbital sander.

Then I gave it another going over with a DA with 80 grit paper.

It needs a bit more work before it will be ready to prime, I am shooting for saturday to prime it. We also decided to remove the front and rear glass since we\'ve already gone this far. I plan on priming it with a polyuroxy primer, fixing a few dents and spot priming with urethane.
Here is the bumpers too, I forgot to mention the other worker here prepped these bumpers and they may be painted tommorow. They had a few nicks and scratches, nothing too serious:

On more thing that\'s new and noteworthy is that we\'ve decided to use a 3 stage paint on this car\'s exterior to jazz it up a touch. We\'ll look to find one that has a hue similar to whats on it now or just make a custom color.
