Day 13
Not much happened yesterday. The passenger headlamp support started to be welded in and today has been finished.
Today Our shop is slow for the first time in a while so there should be lots of progress on the volvo. We currently have 3 people working on it. While one person is welding the passenger side another tech is applying body filler to the driver side. We decided not to go with an epoxy precoat, our tech\'s have to re-grind and spot blast the car before applying filler to remove any flash rust that has formed over the last few weeks.

The hood, trunk and sunroof may be painted today but won\'t know until later for sure. The trunk needed another coat of primer.

The hood has been sanded and is ready to go. I originally thought there were some dents in it but everything seems ok, must have been getting confused with the trunk. The hood has a polyuroxy primer which is likely good enough to topcoat directly but to ensure the mil build is at the proper level we shall apply a sealer before painting.

***UPDATE***
We did not get around to painting the parts as wanted, hopefully tommorow.
Here is a few more pics of the body filler thats been applied. The green stuff on the headlamps (and above) is fiberglass re-inforced body filler.
