Just wondering if anyone has ever seen one of these that actually gives descent results. I was looking at the spectrachrome - www.sprayonchrome.com and just got me wondering about it.
I need a better signature

I have used ALSA products in the past with varied results.. I always thought it never really looked like real chrome, more like brushed aluminum.. You will have to keep us posted on your results.. Thanks!

Rather pricey setup. But if you're doing lots of high dollar custom work it should pay off quickly.
The chromers that i've tried kinda suck... I think BK tried the Alsa stuff before.

I know these guys www.powdercoatingunlimited.com/ they tried to offer it or similar product but after exhausting experimentation and big $$$$ spent like joe says it just wasnt always the desired look of real chrome so they gave up.

Wow neat stuff Jimmo

Kinda expensive to get into though

Can you paint over the stuff?
Or do you paint stuff first then mask and applied there system?

Very cool I would like to try the stuff but I be a poor white boy.

That's actually how they make real Mirrors isn't it?

I have used a good amount of chrome paints.. as already stated, most of the time its going to look like aluminum.. or polished stainless.. I have never gotten it to keep that chrome look once you apply a 2k clear over it.. Now dont get me wrong it looks waaaaay better than silver you see racers put on their bumpers, however it still does not look 100% like chrome either.. Just the way it is

I use the MotoChrome and Moto Speed clear as you have to use their intercoat or you are just wasting your time..

Also the longer you let the stuff flash the better.. Im talking like 24 hours flash time boys.. NOt hours
