One thing I would like to add is sikkens only has a regular base formulas for some colors that are tri-stage in other companies.They don't offer a cheater formula for for tri stages,a couple of colors for example are nissan b17,chrysler pel and a few others that I can't think of.I don't know how you would do a pearl white in regular base,white kills all metallics and pearls,so to get the effect you want you would have to use a huge amount just to get a slight effect....sorry can't see how that would work.
