Have you tryed the tack and whack method?? Your first coat is just a real misty tack coat no gloss at all then hit it straight away with a full wet coat. Tack coat helps the following wet coat stick to the panel and edges like door handle indents body lines door edges etc.. Hi there 1.6mm is a pritty big setup.. What are you going to use the gun for base or clear?? my prefrence is 1.3mm for base and 1.4mm for clear. But still can get good results with 1.3 for clear some high solids dont like it though.. Yes you will need to change needle aswell expect to pay a couple of hundy for a brand new setup.. Read more...
