I took my latest car to this guy that has a mustang shop with the customer to get some interior work on it done and the owner really liked my work. He and I got to talking and he wants me to do his own personal mustang first and if he likes it he will give me the cars he has to paint. I saw the cars he has done already from the two shops he has been using and they arent very straight and the paint is still a little ruff. Needs more rubbing to get the finish to look better.

The guy has a 20,000 sq foot shop full of mustangs that need to be finished. He does everything but the painting part.

Here is the deal...
The car is striped to bare metal then his guys will do all the rust repair if any, and do all the body work to get the car straight and sanded ready for paint.

My job is to finish blocking it and do a final sanding. Paint and clear it. Cut and rub and reinstall the sheet metal. He is giving me 3 to 4 weeks to have it done.

He said that he gets $10,000 to paint each car. Some times more if it's more complex.

Whats nice is I get to bring it home and do all the work here at my leisure.

Whats nice is all the mustangs are 1st gen or 2nd gen cars. No plastic!!

No, I was talking about another mustang shop that was only paying around 2000 to paint the car. I was asking you guys about it back then but didn't pursue it. This guy seems to pay a lot better. Just a little further away.

This job sounds way to good to be true
Your going to need experienced help to pull the jobs off in 3 weeks though especially if doing show car stuff.
