Hey guys, we are getting ready to retrofit our booth at work before summer hits with a drying system for waterborne. We have narrowed it down to the Junair Quads system and the Garmat Accele-cure fans. I was wondering if any of you guys new of anyone with either of these systems and had any feedback on them. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated!

i like the concept of the junair quads. but i think they run around 20k. i've been to a local shop that has the garmat fans and to tell you the truth i wasnt really impressed. they are abouth 1/2 price of the junair but they really look like cheap ceiling fans installed in the booth. really for that set up i think you could buy the fans and do the insatll yourself for around 1500-2000. you may want to look into a few sets of venturi blowers on stands. they will be more economical and do the same job. really how often will you need air blowing on all 4 corners of the vehicle

the jun air system is supposed to work very well when used on the bake cycle.

it can drop bake times by around 15mins, a lot of people are just under the immpression they are only used on the spray cycle to flash off the base coat.

metal temp is reached much quicker on bake cycle with quads on plus there is a far more even metal temp all over the car, including the lower parts of the the car including the rocker panels

I really dont see the need to have a full blown system personally. I have been spraying water for a bit now and really never even use my 2 stands.. We are painting at most 6 cars a day, and really havent felt that it takes much longer for this stuff to dry vs solvent.. I would save my money personally.. Get a couple sata stands and call it a day.
