Very nice as usual!

Why are you priming? You can save lots of time and materials by simply scuffing,
two coats of Bulldog Adhesion Promoter (aerosol is fast) then bc/cc. And you can
kick the base for durability/chip resistance. The paint on the grille is already
a good primer to shoot over.

I prime a lot of dechromed parts too. I like created more work for myself i guess

I prime them because any of these grilles that come in have rock chips here and there, plus I just feel better primering them because I can take them through the guide coat and I know everything if flat.

Dtur, that chrome is a PITA to sand, it doesn't scuff worth a poop

I usually send small parts like that to be blasted. I'm not sure what media they use but they do a great job and roughs it up really nice and fine.

thats smart, this part is pretty delicate, not sure what a sand blaster would do to it lol.
