DeKups Suck. Use the 3m PPS system, it is like the DeKups but much easier. I'm pretty sure you can shoot both solvent and WB from it.

I have Dekups with my Iwata LPH400 and it was not difficult or bothersome to use. I have never used the 3M PPS system, but assume it works the same (it cost a lot more though and I prefer to save money whenever possible). I did have to order an adapter for the Iwata gun though ($10 extra over the internet).

I've used the PPS and the SATA. They are both good however, I personally prefer the PPS. And yes they will work with whatever product you put in them.

I like that you can mix in them, spray with it, then store the leftovers if you so desire. And it is much nicer than cleaning out the paint cup every time...

I've used the 3M, Norton, Sata RPS and DeKups. I liked the Dekups the least. My favorite was the Sata RPS then the 3M.

I bought a box of DeKups for home because of the price. I ran out and spent the extra money (which is not much more) on the PPS. DeKups are ok but 3m cups are far better.

Deckups blow I am really impressed with the norton/carbo cups.We use them in the body dept for primer and sata rps in the paint shop.Keep in mind the ones for water have different strainers.solvent are finer, water are courser, they will work but there is a difference.

Ya stone were talking about disposable cup systems that take the place of your aluminum pot on your gravity spray gun We only use them for our waterborne base coat, have you tried cleaning waterborne paint out of an aluminum pot or a plastic pot, real pain in the arse, tough to clean For clear we just use our regular aluminum pots that our guns came with, keeps the costs down.

maybe we should come up with a better paint .... that cleans out of our guns better .... maybe some sort of a solvent base

Hi,

I ordered my adapter for 3M PPS, not in stock. Anyway. In PPS system 3M give all ("free") the kit (Adapters for 2 guns, dispensers, collars etc.) with a case of 50 lids/liners.

The price is $136 CAN for 16000 on my jobber store. Same thing for small one but $101.00. It is a good price ?

Thanks.
