I saw that about the increase. I didn't think that was in affect yet. Dang it, would be a bummer if I missed it. Do I want to stay away from the LV or the Light model?

I was looking at them today. Didn't realize that there was so many different models.

Well, I emailed them about the website asking why they didnt show the Iwata's any more and he told me that the manufacture was mad at them for posting the cheap prices on the web site.

After finding it and looking all over the internet and checking the store prices I finally bought a Iwata LPH400. I cant wait to use it.

I figured it was something along those lines. It's the same with SATA. A vendor can sell stuff for whatever they wish, but you can only advertise so low....

Interesting you guys hardly mentioned Devilbiss, which I've been using since the early seventies, now we are using waterborne basecoats and we were put onto some guns called Tekna and told they are the latest from Devilbiss, but these guns just don't cut it with the latest paint technology, the BASF paint technician said the same and all three guns are in the trash.

We bought the DeVilbiss GTi Pro guns online from England, like Sata you gotta pay, but they work like a pro spraygun should.

I'm just p****d I couldn't buy them here in CA, maybe Devilbiss will wake up some time soon.

The new Pro range are one of the few guns I haven't tried though. If I wasn't so into my Iwata's I'd give them a go, as the 'old' GTI's are pretty much standard equipment for many over here, and I get on with them pretty well.

Isn't the GTI Pro the same thing as the 670 Plus Gun?

The Gti Pro is about the same thing as the Tekna. There is a little bit of difference in the baffle. Also the Gti Pro uses 1 needle for a 1.2-1.4 and the Tekna uses three different needles.

Another difference is the aircaps. The Tekna has 2 hvlp's and a compliant. The Gti Pro has 1 hvlp and 2 compliants. The best atomizing Gti Pro aircap (T2) and the best atomizing Tekna aircap (7E7) are the same. But the others are different.

Both guns share the same design and internals, but I have heard the Gti Pro does sprays a little better. To be honest I wish they would just bring that gun over and ditch the whole Tekna thing. The Gti Pro looks better.

Ryan, I agree with you that basically the Tekna is similar but performance wise the Tekna falls way, way short of the GTi Pro, we've checked them out side by side and all we hope is DeVilbiss over here comes to it's senses and ditches the Tekna before it wrecks one of the most respected brands in our industry, we certain;ly won't touch any more of them.

Like you Ryan, I wish they would bring that gun over here otherwise I reckon we'll go Sata...and where's that Englishman Andy? Pack your case full of GTi Pros and bring 'em over!

cVi is a cute little gun .... kinda girly , but sporty just the same

I have a CVI Its is kinda sporty. I just couldnt come to terms with that gun. It has a small spray pattern for my liking and for a 1.3 ITS A HOSER! I love the way it feels and how light it is but I have never gotten more runs in my life then what I did with that thing
