the longest running ford van in the UK it is called a Ford Transit, the name has been in use since the mid 60's

What panel bonding brand do you use over there nick? I assume you glued to the flange you left under the drip, thats what id do too.

But i have aslo bonded them along this type of seam or flange, using a variety of bonding sealers 3m, innotec, wurth etc.

I quite often bond around the wheel arch area, as many vehicle manafacturers do this nowadays and if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me lol.

Hey Nick since your over in the UK, are you very big on Farecla products? I have recently started using them and love them.

Looks Good Dunsdale! Big job for sure, tough to tell by the pic but it looks like the steering wheels on the wrong side .

We did a Dodge Sprinter that was similar, big jigsaw puzzle.

The advanced G3 and the G10 swirl remover is what I use. I was thinking about ordering the G4, thanks for the warning! I think it works much better than the new 3M compound we have over here.

I have another question for you. I know you have said before that you use Devilbiss guns and I was wondering how you liked the GTI Pro? I have recently bought a Tekna which is supposed to be the same thing as a GTI Pro, they just renamed it for US sales. No matter what I try with the gun it doesn't spray clear very nice. It works well for waterborne basecoat but not for clear. I didn't know if you had much luck with them?

Since we are talking about compounds, have any of you guys tried out the Evercoat Body Majic brands??

I ask because I have found the compound to be on par with 3m's cut and it only cost less than $10 a quart..
I polish and finish with system one X3 compound/polish..

Those 2 products alone I can buff anything.. any color and make it nice
