I just picked up a Tekna that my jobber had on special. $325.
1.2,1.3,1.4 needles and a digital regulator.
Looking forward to trying it out today..

I have been spraying with a Devilbiss GTI. GTI's are pretty reasonable.

Yep, I use a Devilbiss Gti Pro 1.3/1.4 for base with a T1 aircap and its spot on.

Not sure if the aircaps are named different in different countries.

If I remember rightly the t2 is for the fast flow which lays the material down with a ( original) finish lol and the t1 give a nice show room glass finish.if you use them for clear like I do, I've never used the t1 for color which is interesting as I use iwata w400 for color wonder how they would compare :lol1

actualy although min
e is a gravity model it isnt marked as an FX but an FZ which when you look should be the suction version ?? that apart as i mostly do bikes i set mine up witha 1.2 however i have done large completes with it and vans ,i have also seen sensational results with clear using a 1.5 set up ,one i sold which wasa 1.4 my friend dedicated to just waterbase so all in all they are a very versatile gun but admitidly a bit slower than the HA when dealing with HS clears etc etc

the other usefull thing about a Geo is its astonishingly low air consumption as low as 7.5 CFM depending on the set up used ,so when compared to say a Sata HVLP your running costs are cut in half compresser wise ,transfer rates on all the walcom range are above 70% but most importantly the finish quality is always superb imo

i know i rattle on about Walcom guns but they are priced well and the quality of the guns are at least as good as any other top marque

BTW the Geo also has the option of a titanium nozzle reputed to be ten times more durable then the standard Inox SS nozzles

T2 is fast flow for gloss/clears T1 is suited to solvent basecoat. I have tried the T1 for clear and it does not work well.

T110 is the latest aircap for the standard gti for HS clears and glosses which is superb.
