2008 Dodge Caravan Collision Repair Job

This is a brand new van that slid into the back of mid size car. The collision was severe enough for the air bags to deploy but thankfully the occupants walked away fine. I am led to believe there was a passenger because I believe these vans utilize the Occupant Classification System that only activates the passenger airbag when a weight of 50 lbs or more is on the seat. I will look into that more later. The customer chose to go with there dealerships recommendation of our shop over the insurance company's preferred shop,  the best choice they ever made as far as I am concerned. Lets get to the Damage:

Caravan 1

Caravan 3

caravan 2

At a first glance it is obvious that it will need a new bumper cover, hood, air bags, windsheild, fender, lights, rad, condenser among many other things. Tommorow the initial estimate will be written on the job which I will post a breakdown on. After that happens an insurance appraiser will come to our shop and inspect it for himself. Once he approves our estimate, we will consult again with the customer and with there approval the repair will begin.
