This is a Dodge Caliber that has had a new OEM fender installed. The door has been prepped for a blend by scuffing with a grey pad with a paste. The fender has been prepped with 400 and a red scotch pad. Since I am using a direct to e-coat sealer I didn`t even need to sand it but did anyhow.
The replacement fender is first taped off and a urethane sealer (primer) is applied to give it a proper mil thickness to prevent chipping and other adhesion problems. While the sealer was flashing off I applied an orientation coat to the door to make blending a tad easier. After about 20 minutes from applying the primer to the fender I begin the color coats. They are applied until covered and brought out a bit further with each coat to fade it into the door.
Once I am happy with the coverage and blend the clear coat is applied, 2 wet coats with 5-10 minutes between coats.
geez there is some donkey's in the world. Someone on a page selena is on says dairy cows are cruelly exploited every year being artificially inseminated to keep them on the milk. Pull ya head in ya ****in idiots and get your facts together before sulking on a social website.
HELLO, I was wondering if you can shed some light on my problem. I'm having some trouble spraying silver. I am use DuPont solvent base. Some time it sprays out and looks like chrome and some time it comes out coarse looking. What I'm I doing wrong?I know pressure has a lot to do with it, but I'm at a lost? Any help would be great
