  • lild : Too bad they ran off'd outlaw Sad
  • lild : Hey those guys r bery entertianing.espicailly when ryan or ding gets into it
  • lild : Yea, it would be easier just to clear all the around to the other side, but nooooooo. Who wants to do it the easy way?
  • Jayson M : ask the pros on the 101 what to do,I'm sure you will get some funny answers Laughing
  • Jayson M : I bet
  • lild : I had to do two of those cover, just spot, & blend the upper color was fine, I'd matt clear both, & buff the upper part, but the bottom can be tricky to blend the clear.
  • jeremyb : makes me glad I sling mud and block primer all day when I run into problems like this Mr. Green
  • lild : Yep, feel like I look thru the damn chip book for hrs trying to find the right color
  • Jayson M : yeah buick enclave, too many colors to choose from for cladding,I have been kicked in the balls once or twice by those pricks Mad
  • lild : But I have a trick for that kind of blend Confused
  • lild : Now if u want some fun, try a buick suv, fixed the rear cover, top is shiney, lower is flat, & u have to blend the matt finish,& make the blend flawless
  • jeremyb : I might just reshoot it and clear the quarter piece. the difference will be less noticeable where it rolls down to the rocker and door
  • Jayson M : having said that you will do 10 this week
  • lild : I honestly have to say we hadn't had to do a matt finish cladding in a while

This is a Dodge truck that is going off lease and needed a quick, economy priced repair. It had about 6 smaller dents across it. It would have been best to remove the handle but like I said already..economy job. The products used consist of Evercoat & Glasurit primers, RM Diamont Basecoat & a clear that\'s actually not yet on the market. It is just a normal urethane clear.  Sorry about the glitches in the video, I don\'t think my camera likes the overspray.

I have been referencing your video "How to Polish a Black Car", purchased all refinishing materials, and am ready to go. In doing the first step (2000 grit wet sanding), with minimal pressure on small scratches, I am down to the primer paint level very quickly! My question is: Do you know if this model has just a single level paint (clear coat and paint in one), or has two stage (paint, then clear
